Founded by Nandini Kumar and Jasheen McKenzie, Studio Scratch grew from friendship into a creative partnership driven by passion and purpose.What began as shared conversations on parenting evolved into a vision to reclaim independence as working women while embracing their roles as mothers and friends.

Together, they  reimagine spaces, atmospheres, and expressions; born from a shared desire,  “to give more, do more, and create more—with inspiration, knowledge, and heart.” Their work marries technical craft with originality, creating designs that inspire, connect and transform.

With roots in India, Nandini brings a rare blend of engineering precision and artistic imagination, constantly pushing the boundaries of design and creative expression.

From Singapore, Jasheen draws on her eclectic background in music, architecture, design and public relations—enriched by global travels and life experiences that shape her vision of design as something living and deeply human.
